     Elsie died on Aug 9, 1951 at age 68; Ben remembers that his family had driven three days to Yellowstone, and had only spent a couple of days in the park when they got a phone call that his grandmother had died, so they drove home. EA had a new Chrylser, and all through Wyoming he floored it at 100 miles an hour and they drove hour after hour without seeing a soul.5 She was buried in 1951 at Roselawn Cemetery, in Salina, Saline Co, in KS.5
